Redtail Questions and Answers
What if I have multiple lists?
At this point, when you integrate Lead Pilot with Redtail, it will pull all the contacts and put them in the All Contacts section in your Lead Pilot account.
If you want to add multiple contacts to a List, export the contacts to a CSV and use our Import feature. This allows you to map clients to a List. You may need multiple CSVs depending on if you have multiple Lists. To import multiple contacts via CSV, click here.
How it decides who is a client or lead
If your contact in Redtail has a status of “Active Client” or “Inactive Client”, then they will be categorized as a client in Lead Pilot. Other statuses will result in the contact entering Lead Pilot as a lead.
What fields carry over?
With our integration, the contact information that carries over is limited to their name, phone number, and email address.

Can I import specific contacts?
All Redtail contacts will be imported with the integration.
Does it update contacts?
When the user does a manual or auto-import with Redtail into Lead Pilot, if a prospect gets updated in Redtail, it will update the existing contact in Lead Pilot with that same email address with the new Redtail data.
What happens if we delete a contact in Redtail? Is it deleted in Lead Pilot?
Once Lead Pilot imports a contact from Redtail, it will remain in Lead Pilot’s contacts even if it is deleted in Redtail. A contact should be deleted in Redtail and Lead Pilot to avoid that contact being re-imported.
What if a contact unsubscribes from Lead Pilot email blast?
Someone clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of a Lead Pilot email blast would not be unsubscribed from the CRM. You would need to manually unsubscribe the contact from your CRM also. Please be aware that contacts may pull over as with a status of "subscribed" if a compatible field is not found within Lead Pilot.
Will contacts added in Lead Pilot be added in Redtail?
Yes, Our Redtail integration will seamlessly bring your leads from Lead Pilot right into your Redtail CRM. Every lead that’s generated from your Lead Pilot landing pages will be added (if their email does not yet exist) directly to your CRM as a new contact, allowing you to further engage and associate data with your contact.
Does it replace the contact information being imported to the List if it is different than what already exists in the Lead Pilot?
When the user does a manual or an auto-import with Redtail into Lead Pilot, if a prospect gets updated in Redtail, it will update the existing contact in Lead Pilot with that same email address with the new Redtail data.
It is mostly about just importing contacts over into Lead Pilot. A conflict can occur when the contact is deleted from Lead Pilot, but not from Redtail, and then it gets re-imported. It's a connection and integration, but not a 100% sync.
