Updated over a week ago

We all know that images are one of the most engaging (and, therefore, important) components of online marketing. Still, unless you’re willing to pay significant costs for access to a database, trying to find good quality, high-resolution images can be incredibly time-consuming. But your website, blog, and social media posts need great images, so what do you do?

We’re helping you by rounding up our 10 Go-To Websites for free high-quality, beautiful stock photos. These are our favorite places to find photos when we need images for our blogs, social media, or client websites. You can use any images from these websites however you wish!

10 WEBSITES FOR FREE, HIGH-QUALITY STOCK PHOTOS

We love Unsplash for absolutely stunning photography. You can always find an image that will “Wow” here—many photos of landscapes, buildings, nature, and artistic shots. Unsplash offers ten new photos every ten days.

Pixabay is excellent if you are looking for a specific image. Use the search function to search for images such as “Chicago” or “Family Outside.” Just skip past the recommended Shutterstock images displayed in the results first, as those are not free (but help keep the site free!).

Pexels, like Pixabay, offers a great search function and a good selection of nature photos, abstracts, and cityscapes. Notably, they also have a good selection of business stock photography.

The thousands of free images here are searchable by keyword, category, and tags or can be browsed.

Negative Space adds new free stock images every week, and you can browse by categories such as animals, people, nature, technology, work, and business.

FancyCrave’s easy-to-navigate website releases two new images from professional photographers every day. The photos have much more of a fun, eclectic vibe, perfect for blog posts or social media.

Beautiful, minimalist photos. Lots of black and white options or greyscale. These are great options if you are looking for a photo to represent peace, calm, or serenity.

Boss Fight offers free high-resolution stock photos that are added daily. Many options feature young people out in nature, hiking, biking, etc.

Nobl Web features “packs” of photos that all relate to a similar theme. You have the option to download just one photo or download the entire pack if you’d like. Recent themes have included “Sicily” (featured on their homepage in the image below), “Family,” and “Costa Rica.”
